Can you advise where I can get this Snap On tool ?

I ordered 1 pair Infinity 6032si, preparing to mount on front door. I already had 1 same pair in rear of my other car with a Pioneer Amp. I found them to be OK. Any opinion if they could sound better if put at rear door ?

IMO Rear door is not a good location for sound, never have this experience before. Back shelf or trunk must be better for bass.

If panel job goes well, will consider buying a Pioneer 3 way TSA1673R for rear door, it is on sale at Sonic Ele. in US. @US$79 at my door step UPS, brokeage, duty, tax all included. BB here selling 99.90 + hst + envi. I never had 3 ways before, some people say it no better than 2 ways. Any insight??

You're going to find a depth issue in your doors. Its also a component system in there. You might want to look at replacing it with another pair of comps. I'll be doing that same install on Saturday. We are using Polk Audio MM6501's because they'll fit without too much bullshit and they sound beautiful!

You have a lot to learn.

Including parts. For a brand new vehicle this is not that expensive at all.

As for most cars having factory amps, let alone them being in the trunk is false as well.

**Edit

I dont want to sound like a dick, but you're commenting like you know everything when you're asking questions that you should know the answer to.

According to Crutchfield, this Pioneer will fit with minor modificaton. I better take off the panel to check what the hack are the oem, after I got the panel instruction from Crutchfield delvy.

Polk audio MM6501 @C$299.99 = 343.00 is way out of my budget. May be I shall look up some cheaper models of component speaker.

I may reconsider my earlier option to mount my surplus Pioneer amp for the rear speaker. I hate running all the wires back & forth, especially in winter time, freezing in the garage.

Harness $120, labour $60/hour, face plate and wires $30 - what's the other $210 for? Are these prices $150-$100-$70? It sounds expensive.

My Sunfire had a factory amp and I'm pretty sure my Alero does too. This tells me that it's very possible that **many cars (sunfire, cavi, maybe cobalt, alero, grand am, grand prix) have them too.

I'm not trying to sound like I know everything. A factory amp was a suggestion/warning, they are hell. The easiest place to look for one is a trunk wall.

Why can't I know one thing and not ask about another? Why "should" I know the answers?

Hi
How is your new installation going??
Love to hear from you the progress. Are the door panels came off without much difficulty.
Most of all I would like to know, prying off the top front black triangular piece near the mirror anything to pay particular attention ?? I dont want to ruin that thing with wrong entry points or force. Also the similar part at rear windows.
TIA
