Do you think I will require a capacitor?

I'll be running a MTX TC2002 200RMS maxed out to 600W and my other amp will most likely be around 300W with 4 channels (I haven't found an amp I like yet).

No, you should not waste your money on a cap. You should, however, invest in the big 3.

does it matter where i put my power distribution block? i know the regular fuse has to be close to the battery but can the power distribution block be like in my trunk?

also where should my ground distribution block be?

power and ground distribution in the trunk, if the amps are in the trunk.

How much current is your alternator rated for?

easy for a cap you take the wire before the distro block and install it there then continue the wire to the block then to your amps

90 amp alt should run a 900w system ok. I'd try it without a cap first,
Upgrade wires as suggested, then if you get minor dimming, try a 1 or 2 F cap.
