Yeah the 0 ga I am using is probably just compensation.....
As a USACi competitor, I had to get all the connections just so and terminate with heat shrink (knowing full well if the weight of the cable shifted in a compression fitting and ANY copper dared show itself... then blam kiss a point or two good bye). For show purposes the use of the correct size cable (over sizing is OK, under sizing is not) is a time and effort saver, those 4 and 8 ga wires really mate well with the accessories, 0 ga you generally have to chop off strands.
I will again thank Tim B for introducing us to Hooker connections, they allow for the use of ring terminals instead of compression connections (I think Stinger does this too) I too consider him a god (certainly not a Zeus, more like a Pan or Bacchus that likes to flip people off)
