I'm actually gonna try going to another dealership first, because I don't want to bother taking out the HIDs.

I know for a fact they aren't the cause of the issue at all, because I bought my car used (from Gatineau, QC) and they were things that were missed during the inspection, so they've been broken ever since I got it without any modifications I've made. They just want them out, so they can diagnose so they say.

The only reason I went to the one I did, was because they were the closest to me.

Either way, the stereo isn't in my car yet. It's too cold to be screwing around with this kinda stuff in this weather. Just wanted to get all the parts together for the install. I just want to be able to fully disconnect it, just in case, without taking off the battery connections.

That also reminds me, doesn't someone here offer a heated garage to work in?
