1/0 AWG Quick Disconnects

Looking for a good 1/0 AWG quick disconnect I can use to take my system offline when taking the car in for warranty work.

I just take my face off the HU.

Quick disconnects only come in 2 pole. They are called Anderson style quick disconnects.

Anderson Style Quick Connect Plug 175A Gray 1AWG - 2AWG: GIM-62813 Genuinedealz

I wouldn't recommend it though. You'll get sparks from the charging of the cap.

I took my car in for an issue with the passenger side electric mirror not moving side to side, only up and down. They said I had to remove my aftermarket HIDs, and replace them with the regular headlights and come back if I still had an issue, because any electronics in the car could affect others.

I could definitely see the stereo have a finger pointed at it in the future once its in there, and need a way to disconnect it entirely from the electrical system.

I noticed those connects mentioned above, but they need to be properly crimped, and I don't know if I have the tools to do it right.

I plan to keep the OEM stereo and get a MTX Re-Q5.

Put your HIDs back in, they dont run through the cars diagnostic or action computers. They saw them and figured thats the problem. I have a stereo HIDs and relays in my engine and have brought it to the dealership recently and nothing affected the other.

LOL ...That suck's. I have a full spl system in a one year old car...lol And i take it to the dealer for everything and they don't care about it being there ... And i have that microsoft sync shiz and built in bluetooth and everything...lol
P.S. I also bought one of those MTX RE-Q before i put my head unit in it was ALRIGHT... cost me like $200 though and that wasn't even the best one.
