06' Ralliart sub&amp install

hey guys, new here.
i was recomended to this site for some questions.
i have an 06' Lancer Ralliart w/ Sun and Sound package.
what im trying to do is install aftermarket subs and amp.

i want to leave the factory amp to run my speakers, and run the new subs off the aftermarket amp.

im leaving the factory deck so i can have use of my 6 disc.

so i guess there is a line output convertor that is used for this but im a little weary about using this because i dont want voices comming through the subs.

any help would be greatly appreciated.....

thanks.

Your best bet is to use a proper interface adaptor like the Audio Control LC6i + the optional bass remote (to mount up front and control the level of sub bass). After that, a amplifier matched the proper speakers matched to the proper box, installed properly will have you taken care of. The crossover built into the amplifier will take care of all unwanted frequencies from being played through the subwoofer(s).

I would recommend just getting an amplifier that has a X over built in and use it so the words do not come through! I often wish I had the sun and sound package in my 06' ralliart, but am glad now that I have chosen to go the SPL route to not have it!!Good luck with your install, post some pics of it (if you do it yourself)

if your going to replace the stock amps and what not, that will be a fairly large headache, getting the audio control peice like mentioned above will be your easiest and safest bet for keeping your stock radio and cd changer!

hey again!....ok, so ive done some rethinking and im going to be running the LOC i just picked up now instead of speaker level inputs....

now i have a few new questions for you guys

1. can I hook the LOC up to the factory sub wire?...ive heard that it might not pick up the right frequencies!?!...is this true?...
2. and if not, the LOC only has 2 speaker wire connectors...should i just tap into the one rear speaker or somehow run into both?
3. best place for the REM?...ignition? stock amp? toggle switch from battery?

thanks guys!...any help would be great!
