Ask Me Anything About Audio System Design

as you can see I voted yes but not to be taken in ignorance... simply some ppl do not understand and choose to be arrogant towards your knowledge... I do enjoy reading your commentary when I come home from work late evening or night... so for myself and many select others that actually care to try and understand your stand point and will to share knowledge then by all means stay...please... if you tend to become upset by the misserable adolesents who intentionally attack you for sharing usefull knowledge then dont waste your time.
thanks for giving me some good reading till this point.

Thank you for taking the time to qualify your vote. It has improved the quality of this 'Poll'...
Also, thank you sharing your perspectives with regards to my posts and furthermore, for your clear support of my efforts to date.
It’s always nice to read a friendly post.

I voted no, even though dogbaker and I didn't really see eye to eye. Just so we're clear, I wasn't attacking him, I was simply quoting his posts, though somehow I took his printed words out of context.
In any case, the knowledge you're putting up is useful, and the guys heavily into SQ I'm sure appreciate it, and my question about SPL may not belong in the thread, but so long as you're helping, no matter who it is, I don't think you're wasting your time.
However, for the every day guys who have no idea what you're talking about but just want to make the best sounding system they can, it may feel like time is being wasted. I'm sure if a textbook on SQ was to be written for members of CCA, a lot of your posts would be included. Though I've vowed not to get involved any more in this thread, I still frequent it in the odd chance that I pick up something I might implement in my setup.

Thank you for providing some history and for up dating us on your current perspectives etc.
It appears that we may have developed some common ground between us - and simply agree to disagree as gentlemen, when impasses occur...
To me, this seems like a fair arrangement...

its funny how some of the guys who voted 'yes' are always the ones who give the single half assed anwser in peoples threads but never come back to defend their post or back it up... typical.
i think the fact you take time outta your day to answer peoples questions is unreal, despite the you have had to put up with when people disagree and such... you've help more people in this thread than 85% of CCA has over the history of this site
i'd like to tip my hat off to you in thanks.

I have noted the same thing - thanks for pointing it out! Perhaps others have/will note the same...
Thank you for your very encouraging words!

i have a question (and excuse all the typos as i am typing on a keyboard i cant even see)
how do we rejuvenate the car audio competition scene to return it to the state it used to be? cost efficiently that is.
shops do not want us
magazines only mooch off of us
radio doesnt want to talk about us
manufacturers have long given up
basically there arent any funds coming from anywhere
can any benefits be derived from this sport for any third parties? not including competitors themselves ofcourse.
what to do? what to do?
do you think mobile dynamics croaked for the same reason as the car audio competition scene? (no insult here)
btw, your poll is gay, i think. online forum communities are a waste of time in themselves, they've become a huge battle field for internet pissing matches, this thread is a prime example.
