She also said that she likes my jargon, as it's all french to her and that my kind of french turns her on during sex!

let me see if i can put it another way for you.... i have played goal at the semi pro level.. now iam 42 and have been out for a long time but still play in a very competitive league full of x nhl/whl/ajhl/ europe players... now if some 40 yr old who has been coaching hockey all his life but never played befor comes and tells me my style is all wrong and he introduces me to a new unique, untried and unproven style of play... well guess what iam going to tell him... now his system may be the best once exposed and proven but until then i have to stick with what makes me good.... so your theory and ideas may be write and we are all 10 yrs behind you, but until you can prove it to us time and time again.... well its just hearsay and will fall on deaf ears..
my advise is to make this box throw it into a car and beat your demons at there own game.. just my two sense....
42 and still play in a competitive league???? I highly doubt it!!!! I'm sorry, and you're supposed be a world champion of some sort in spl??? Never heard of you. By the way which of the respected spl'ers am I pissing off? Please let me know so I can laugh in your face. If its studibaker you're talking about then I'll start laughing now.

again iam, for the record, very interested in your opionion and views. but this last statement must be recantered.. when you build and design something on paper. then test it, how many times do you find that it doesnt work!! then its back to the drawing board.. so its not an exact science but more
"|lets get it in the ball park and then fine tune with trial and error". this is the fundemental design philosophy with all major automotive car makers.. as there cars never ever come out perfect the first time even tho on paper they are perfect.. engineers are a strange breed. they think there crap dont stink and they are better than everyone eles because they blew 120000 on an education.. but as you have a place in society so do the workers who put your ideas together and without us there is no you.. so please although iam no engineer i have enough experiece to know what works and what dont and it didnt cost me 120000 bucks.. i have never met you nor do i know who you are but i do have engineers in my family and they are exactly like i mentioned.. ya rob your a dick! and so far you are comming off exaclty the same... if engineering was the end all be all of discussions, maybe someone should tell the space shuttle challenger widows and widowers that....
that being said lets get down to some real stuff..like how bad the Riders are going to pump the als.. GO RIDERS GO!!!

Dogbaker,

I have a question about the sound quality benefits in using a transmission line or horn enclosure.

If I remember correctly, you had built a 6" woofer transmission line in a chevette that hit very loud? How was the sound quality?

For example, in home audio I have seen B&W use a 6" woofer in a tower transmission line style port and they sounded very very good, using a Classé amp.

Would using a 12" woofer in a box such as these give me as good sound quality(tight realistic bass). Would the enclosure not have to be so large that might as well use a sealed box?

What type of box did you use in the mobile dynamics astro (with the amps in the rear head liner if i remember)?

Thanks for your time
Kevin. (Mobile Dynamics 98 Grad)

SPL guys fighting with each other... How does it feel to be missquoted...

Goalie was talking to me. Now say sorry for calling him over the hill. And as a point of fact he has won the titles that he has claimed.

We all need to take more care in our reading before we respond.

its not. You're just viewing it that way. I'm sure dogbaker isn't taking it personal otherwise he would tell me and I'd back off.
