Nice job. Did you ever finish sound deadening the car besides the doors? And if you need more port tuning length mount the ports inside the box further. Also you plan on trying a 9" port? I expect this to be as loud as your car last year. lol

We've only done the 2 doors on the vehicle. Haven't tried the floor yet as we don't know if there will be a gain. Also we haven't done the roof either. Jeff I hear you had a golf. Did you try to deaden the floors and the roof? If so what was the outcome. Was it a loss or a gain for you?

i think with 3 10's this car would be louder than mine was.

Reason being is due to your lower tuning frequency with a something like dynamat extreme it could have an adverse effect and cause more flex due to the added weight and that your roof is flat with no arch. This happened in my 02 golf when I double layered the roof. It lost .5db because with the extra weight the roof would actually move more and cave in causing some cancelation. But also keep in mind that the extra flex was also contributed to the low tuning of 50hz.
Now with my yaris of tuning of 55hz (similar to yours) I gained .6 or .7db doing the roof. Higher tuning less flex probably helped too. Also what may have caused my golf to flex to much in my 02 golf was the roof was flat with no arch unlike my yaris which has an arch in it. If you don't know having an arch is added strenght unlike just a flat roof like in the golf. That's why I suggested something more stiff as to avoid the flex since I know your golf has a flat roof. If you could get enough vibraflex (or what ever murilo used) to do your roof that would probably be best choice. Not saying reg dynamat extreme won't possibly work cuz it probably will but with you having a flat roof if you do you might as well do it as best as you can the first time rather then do it over later.
As for the rest of the car go crazy doing everything with reg good thick dynamat extreme or something similar. It may or may not gain doing the rest of your car but it for sure couldn't hurt. Also if you do invest in the vibraflex and it works on your roof I would suggest doing your doors with it since it's very dense.
Good luck and glad it's your coming so far with the golf.
