98 gm pickup. Pull the dash bezel off, push down the 2 tabs, pull the deck out, snap in the kit (push in only) plug in harness, ant adapter, slide in deck. Not 1 screw.

I agree about the sunfire deck, easiest I've done before, but I've had mine in and out a dozen times so its nothing to me anymore. Makes me wonder why I'm so lazy I wont take it out to connect the antenna adapter.

I used to always solder when doing decks, but at work we use butt connectors, and tie-strap on either side of the connectors (both sides of the harness) to relieve any tension on the connection. If you can pull on it with quite a bit of force and it does not come apart, it should be fine in your dash, where there should be no tension on the harness, no? [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]
