Here's the scoop:

You get you crimpers, strippers and crips on the top of your tool box. Get to use a harness.

1991 F-150
*with clock set,and box on the passenger side

Isn't that crimping the harness connections with barrells?

[img]smile.gif[/img] I know there are snooty installers out there who get their panties in a bunch if you mention anything but soldering for items such as deck wiring but if you can perform a proper crimp with butt connectors (barrels), then what's the difference? I got no issues with crimping.

Oh, easiest deck install for me was my 97 Dodge Avenger, followed by my Dodge Daytona. Chrysler products seem easy in general. Pull of the bezel, unscrew the deck, unplug, plug in the harness which you've already crimped to your new deck, screw in the kit (I made my own kits though out of painted plexiglass for a little nicer touch), slide in the deck, put on the bezel. Done.
