What's in your garage !?? Hoo-lee Crap-ola
WHAT'S IN YOUR GARAGE ?!?!?!?? 
Ok, so I'm sitting around this weekend looking at the mess in the garage. Boxes of all kinds of stuff. What a waste of space. So I roll up the sleeves and start going through things, making piles and sorting good stuff from bad and junking other things. I cannot believe how much car audio stuff I've squirelled away. So much of it with the intent that "ONE DAY" I may need this or that. OR, I want to build this or that "SOME DAY". Damn. Piles of stuff. Some of it is so OLD it's obsolete and worthless. Likely doesn't even work properly anymore. Two huge garbage bags of crap going to the side of the road and i'm just getting into it.
Anyone else stock-pile like this with the "INTENT" of one day making use of this or that ?!?!?!?? I have thousands and thousand of dollars of used and new stuff sitting around rotting. For example a Pioneer P9 combo. Neither one of our cars can make use of this unit as neither one has a DIN size opening !! Why do I keep it ?!!??!? I have more subwoofers then I will even be able to make boxes for. Some of them over 20 years old !! Damn. Empty baskets, re-cone kits for subs I don't own. Single one off drivers out of component sets, x-overs never used, mountains of wiring heaped into boxes and on and on. What a disaster. Anyways, I sorted through it and posted some of the decent stuff up here on CCA. This stuff has to find a new home. Otherwise it's going to end up in the dumpster one day (not today though!!).
I guess this is what happens when you've been involved in car audio for more then 20 years. The funny part is more then half of this sh*T I've forgotten I even had. I could have bought a really nice weeked toy car with the wasted money here. Sad.
