i found a simple solution for the weekend booking's
i tell all my guys book as many appointments for the weekend as you can and have em all come in at 9:00 (they never do).
it works reletivly well unless you have a day job.
which i get prepaid in advance, so i am paid for that day, of course you'll get that odd occasion were everybody show's and you end up working late
but come payday my installers never complain about there chq's.

Not that I don't like electricians, My whole family is a bunch of electricians, but they're the type of people who are smart enough to let me do the automotive electrical..... and if I need anything done in the house outta my league, I call them.
