Ultimate KW1200 subwoofer

Anybody know anything about this sub all I can find are the specs but no reviews, specs are

12"/305mm Subwoofer

That sub is a beast - just keep an eye on the speaker terminals so they don't break off. You'll need a 1 ohm stable amp as well. If you've never heard much of Ultimate, they are actually a manufacturer and not just a name on someone elses driver

Have never heard of the brand, but I beleive you get what you pay for.
The dual 3 ohm coils are intersting, to get some power out of your amp without taxing it quite as much as a 1ohm load.
The 220oz magnet and other stats seem light for the 1000W RMS claim.
Also a very high sensitivity for a 12" driver which is supposed to handle that much power.

I think JL and Powerbass make a lot of 3 ohm/ dual 3ohm drivers as well
