I listened to the Sony's today...not bad, but hopefully with my install idea, the system will be totally stealh so looks aren't a big player at this point...

I was thinking ported, but I don't want to lose the punch that is characteristic of 10's...I miss my Planet Audio P12DVC that was ported....that thing pounded!! But as stated above, someone thought they deserved to have it without paying for it...So..yeah, maybe less cubic feet and ported will give me the punch I want?

Well, the "punchiness" can also be gained by running it in the right box. Sealed is definite to get you a more tight punchy feel, and the car cabin/box placement also helps. It's great when you have a hatchback, I love standing waves, haha.

lol...yeah hatchbacks are nice..

If you can picture the placement...the 10's will be going on opposite sides of my trunk (2000 Sunfire GT) firing inwards...so they are right by the taillights....I think maybe a small port to give a little interior rumble would be nice...
