So Interfire.....

you know, i hate to stir the pot here more, but i agree with tim on this one, and i think ive said it before, just not so blatantly...im really sick of all these fly-by-night woofer/amp companys that someone tosses in their car, burps a decent number, and all of a sudden, its gods gift to the earth, for the next month until the next new flavour comes out. There is a reason that you see most people directly affiliated with the industry running the tried, tested & true brands.

Well I was just trying to stick up for a company that is receiving some critiszm. I thought a futureshop employee of all people would respect such efforts. If someone were to buy one of those amps what would make them a putz anymore than someone walking into futureshop and buying pioneer equipment and bragging about it?? I guess it's a double standard.
btw tim.. I have the upmost respect for your installs, they are very nice and you obviously take alot of pride in your work. But I just dont think its right for an installation manager to come on here with that attitude.. it makes the whole company look bad.

Sometimes a person just gets tired of some of the mindless dribble on this site and wants to speak out about it.
As for your double standard I was not calling the person buying the amp the putz, rather the person that buys it for the sake of buying something unique and then trys to start this almost cult like following for the product regardless wether it is good or bad. </font>
I do have a double standard.. anyone affiliated with the industry, I treat them with more respect and at the same time i expect to hear more knowledgable comments from them (I'm not saying that any of your posts werent..)
Maybe I mis-read your post and took it out of context, if so I appologize.
But I definatly agree with your comment about a person calling it the best just because its different and not caring about quality.

WOW...must be that time of month or something. In my opinion there is a place for more than a select brand of products in this industry. No need to go around trashing other brands to make the ones you carry look better.

Further more my statement simply implied that I did not care where the name came from and I was pointing out that there are way to many no name products and brands that seem to be the hotest thing one moment on this message board and then the next moment it is crap and something else has become the next best thing. Having an unique brand name product is not a bad thing, it is just pathetic how something rises and falls so quick on here. </font>
oh ok.. I think maybe your post was worded wrong or I was reading it wrong cuz originally it sounded to me like you were basically calling any non big name product crap..

There are way to many people who are clueless on here and end up with a band of clueless minons.......
Sometimes it is funny, other times it's just downright pathetic..........

I have never really noticed that on CCA but I do understand your point because I have seen that type of crap on other sites like Termpro and SoundDomain. I guess I didn't fully understand your post because I also thought you were just calling the people on this forum a bunch of idiots and only big name products are worthwhile. I don't think it is a bad thing that people are trying new products, it would get pretty boring if everyone used the same crap in their cars.
