Sledgehammer?

I would agree with the fact that its really not meant for street and I also saw it getting slaugtered buy a D2 and Hardcore in single battery 12 volt tests.
It needs a solid supply of no less/more than 14-16 volts. It produces alot more power than a D2 or Hardcore(what I have compared it to) but you need 4+ batteries per amp to do it. This amp is the most powerful amp I have tested so far but the requirements are to much. I have mot tested a D3's or other big amps but I would like too.
In our Vehicle we have a single 18 and we used one of Riprocks SH-1's and with the new Termlab.NET meter(just got it!!) we hit 160 easy with one SH-1 amp(but we have 11 batteries for that one amp) and its just on a charger up at 15 volts when we burp it.
You have to run it at 1.5-2 ohm for best power and in some cases 1.2ohm. I have tried .8-1 ohm but theres really no benefit and the amp messes up.
For daily driving at 2 ohm with a nice input voltage this amp rules with the fan cooling, never overheats and the signal is very clean so you know its always clean power.
