how are u running a big system on a honda Stock ALT ?

 

this is exactly what i mean when i say that most people wouldnt know what to do with it.

its a competitin system, i dont daily driver it. i actually never drive it.

In Db Drag Street category (which my car falls under) the engine has to be off durring your run. A big alternator is useless. I have a big charger instead.

My car is louder when it's off anyways.

are you gonna ask if you u get the capacitors too? cuz i dont have any of those either.

Im sure you could daily beat it with a big alternator. you would need a totally new box then cuz the one is in the car is for competing, it does not play music. But it's really loud for SPL comps (where you DO NOT use music).

 

comp car and daily car are two different things. I guess you could turn one into another but then they would suck ***** in what they are ment to be.

you could turn my crx into a loud daily beater, but then it would suck as a comp car and loose all of its competative edge. A loud daily car would never do well in a real SPL comp. By the same token, a car that's made strictly for spl would be horrible at playing daily music.

thats like the difference between a rifle and a handgun. you could turn a handgun into a rifle but then it sucks as a handgun - too heavy and too big to hide. but it still shoots bullets tho.

you can take a rifle and turn it into something similar to a hand gun, but then it would suck as a rifle - loose all of its range and accuracy. but it still shoots bullets.

you see what im saying.
