ah man, why is it the money AND the knowledge never seem to be had by the same person?

as for the wire 2 runs wont cut it. have at least 2 for each (power and ground), get a good battery, because unless you run super stock or street stock your car will have to be shut off. The alt dont mean a damn thing if the car isnt running.

and Citrate's sub is bad ***!

M mechanic did the alterator the guy is crazy he used to work for BMW dealership but now he has his own place and he will fix if anything happens 9 gauge wiring is done in the car x2 , because i also need wiring for the speakers and an amp for them. He was saying it would be better to have 2 Alternators rather then one ... Any ideas on that
Did your mechanic rewind the alt? If so, it is pretty unbelievable to get more than 200 amps out of the original size core.

The xxx is a SQ woofer and it is MUCH more expensive then the BTL. xxx sounds nice, but i think you would be better with a BTL if you are looking to compete...Even at that, the BTL is not a SPL woofer, an atomic APX, RD Elite SPL/HW or a RE MT would be more what you would be looking for...

Yeah i would go with the Fi BTL's because after looking at the price i wouldnt go with RE's

So one Fi BTL 12" would do the job , its rated at 2000W RMS and in a perfect box i dont know how many hertz but it will get mad loud , right ?

tune at around 30 32hz maybe even 35hz it will play all music and the lows will just beat you up and it will be loud lol

if its for comp forget music and tune the box somewhere in the 40's or maybe higher depending on the car (music wont sound so good after)

you think 350 is an unreasonable price for a top notch spl woofer?

people have had VERY good results with btl's though, i would not disagree with what you are saying though. Just say, the btl has been proven in contests with good results
