K so I pull one of my 702's out of the truck and threw a lil wonder 4 bridged to 2ch in it's place for my front stage
problem is it's got crazy loud alternator whine
I never had even a hint of whine with the 702 in there
I have a 2 guage power and ground wire running to the battery and my deck is grounded to the same junction block as the amps
any idea what to check for, I throw the 702 back in and get no whine

Sounds like your new amp has poor isolation between sig ground and power ground... as does your deck (usual)...
you need to run your deck off an isolated power source, or choke deck ground (will work, so Iam told).... or go back to your old amp...
