I admit that after the shipping, exchange etc...it may not be worth it, but for 3 subs I'd still save 450.00.
i shure hope that u don't need any technical help or info in designing your system. your right this is a great buy if you are well experenced in the indistry and know exactly what u need to do with then and how u expect those speakers to perform. other wise u are wasting money on a fairly high end peace of equipment that an inexpensive driver could perform exactly the same as depending on how u use it. great price though!

^^been into car audio since 1984 and I am/was a licensed mechanic for 15 years(specialized in car electrical and electronic repairs to all makes and models). I am also a science grad from U.W.O.( was thinking of medicine but ended up divorced instead), so now I am a relatively successful Realtor and real estate investor. I do agree with you that if you are not car audio literate, you may want some support. I also agree that lesser subs can give you very good performance as I have put together a $1000.00 system with all used equip(infinity subs off ebay for $30.00 each, that sound almost as good as my JBL GTi subs at a tenth of the price, not nearly as loud though). I am thinking of getting 3 Alpines for my next project car...2003 Mustang cobra.

Mayhem- I worked it all out and it comes up to around 500cdn with all taxes and shipping, broker charge etc...This compared to 279.00x3x1.15=$962.55,savings of over $460.00. Chances are I would take a drive to my cousins, which I was kind of planning to do anyway and have them ship the subs to her house and install them there( I already have a 3x12 box in one of my cars), this would save a hell of a lot on shipping and taxes, 3 alpines would cost 375-385 cdn with exchange...that's a steal!!!!!
