Its late on friday night and the design of a new amp rack is keeping me awake...

However, the only drawback I can come up with is the amps oveheating due to a plexiglass sheet covering them. At the moment, I have a power acoustik A1800DB. My mids amp has yet to be chosen.

The plexiglass will be about 1" above the amp. Maybe a few holes will solve my problem?

werd. two cooling fans in a push/push setup can go a long way. you could always use the crappy $5 ones from radio shack, or you could go all out and buy the $40 ones from Stinger. the difference in cfm is negligible, but the stinger ones are sexy.

yea, but then I would have to run a relay.

Wouldnt I run them in a Push/pull setup so i can run a steady stream of air over the top of the amps?

because they feel that 500 cfm + 500 cfm =1000
where as it actually = 500

what about overcooling? Its just as bad as overheating...

The fans I was looking at were rated at 110cuft/min so should I just run two of them and attach them to a relay using my remote wire?

Can I run two fans, a couple remote wires and some neons off the same relay? What if I take out the neons and fans later, should i just change the fuse?

Lastly, how much should i fuse my remote wires comming from a relay?

silly me, to ask this likely simple question, but how is overcooling as bad as overheating??? (assuming you're not cooling down to like -60C or something ridiculous with these small fans or any fans)
