Hey all....I can pick up two of these for $270 cdn:

http://www.soundstream.com/PICASSOamp2.html

It's the PIC2.240

I have never used Soundstream gear b4...I know it's a good brand, but what do you guys think...they are both brand new, in factory packaging...let me know!!

**EDIT**

Also, what do you guys think of this sub??

Rockford Fosgate RFP3210 HE2

The guy selling it says that there is a slight tear on the surrond that has been glued together....they are $70.....is it worth it for the little glued part?

Andrew

One last thing....I would probably run one amp to a pair of 10's and the other amp to my fronts/rears, or continute to run my fronts/rears off my deck and run an amp to each 10...

Soundstream makes nice stuff for sure. is that 270 for both? that's a sweet deal!

That amp would make the sub pound nice, given the right enclosure. I would take a good look at the tear, the HE2 is a decent woofer.

Yeah, the amps are a really nice deal...I am not sure about the sub though, I would rather spend the cash on something that is new

I wouldn't buy any sub with a torn surround ... Unless it was considerably discounted ...

Soundstream used to make real good high end stuff, but I'm not so sure now because they were bought out a year or so ago. Like a few other companies, they appear to be focusing more on form, and function is getting questionable. I'm not speaking for all model lines, though, just the mainstream.

If the tear on the sub is on the outer area of the surround, it wouldn't be as big of a deal compared to if it were on the inner rolling part.

If you are planning on puttin that much power into that woofer in a sealed box, id think twice. Id check to see how strong the surround has been glued. As for the amps, those amps will be plenty. Use one amp on each sub, if you dont buy the rockford. It will shake your car.
