hello, i just got 2 jl 10 inch subs hooked up to a rockford fosgate amp and when i turned on the music it was really high pitched and some people sound like chimpmunks, does anyone know how to fix this problem? thanks alot it is annoying lol

 

If those sounds are coming from your new subs you probably have a high pass filter instead of a low pass filter (LPF) setting turned on

 

Agreed. High pass= lets the highs pass thru, blocks bass.
Low pass= lets the bass through, filters out the highs

 

It is coming from the speakers not the subwoofers, sorry for the mixup but i will try that thanks!
