I talked to Steve Johnson...

To tell you the truth it seemed like I was talking to mickeymouse so you cant trust that... but he asked someone else who supposidly knew...

Iam still going with my inital instincts... especially because of my conversation and because the response you got is just as vaygue as their website....

I specifically asked about cone mass and suspension... btw...

Guess we will find out in April one way or the other....

Geez Haunz this was already posted but I guess I will have to post it again:

JackHammers are shipped in either the SPL mode, with dual 2Ω voice coils, or as the SQL model with dual 4Ω voice coils. A replaceable cone assembly is also available, for switching between "every day" listening (SQL), and competition (SPL).

Jordy0: there is no 3 coil sub by PG, the Tielite 12 had 2 coils, and a set of power hookups for the LED's in the center.

Edit: And dBdon's been working on the PSI for at least 3 years now.. I doubt it'll ever see the light of day.

I don't mean to argue man, but you're only 1/2 right. The PG sub DOES exist. It's also known as the Fat Bastard.

They modified a TI Elite.. removed the LED and made it so there was a 3rd coil hook up there.

You can ask Moe Sab or Team Shadow (Pat) about it... they both have run them in the Civic.

</font>
The replaceable assmebly is DVC 4 or 2ohms... THAT IS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE according to the individual I talked to at MTX and my instincts...

They make it sound like the cones are application specific, but they are just different coil config... Fluff Talk, ya know ??

Trust me, I know MTX, and if you go back a few pages you will see that I didnt have to call to know what the difference was going to be...
