The minute you go to 4 ohm dvs subs, you are limited on the choice of 5 channel amplifiers. Like Hardwrkr mentioned, Memphis is going to be the choice of amplifier in this application. It looks like you want to build a respectable system, if you are also after amazing speakers, look to Morel. www.morelhifi.com

this is exactly what i wanted to hear from you guys, thanks.
the Memphis mch600 looks great and i want to get it but there are no dealers in my area at all and i don't want to buy from an unauthorized dealer online. Maybe another suggestion?
Also, Morel is a little pricing for my budget. I'm looking around under $200 for front components if possible for a good set. And again i found a dealer but its an hour away so i guess i could make that drive.
I'm from Niagara Falls, ON btw.

Lee at Burlington Radioactive has a special on the black slash series of JL amps.
Memory serves me right the 500/5 is going for less than $700 with the warranty etc. ......
Sweet piece of hardware, thought about one for my wife's minivan but I already had too much stuff for it.....
