Well just called Jeff Roman and as of right now 101 with Bubba is not coming yet. However he said that they with be reviewing the channel listing on a on-going basis. That sucks

But hes on the downswing from his prime 10-15 years ago, but he still has his entertaining moments.

His counterpart on the sation Bubba the Love Sponge is horrid though, I do not like him one bit.....and Sterns sidekcik Robins fake laughter kinda gets me as well.

I myself like Opie & Anthony over Stern. Opie and Anthony on XM 202 are the only real competition Stern has and they are moving up real quick theyve been on XM since day 1 and Ive been listening to them for over a year and I enjoy them much more..... they do some of the funniest things ive ever heard im my life.

O & A's partners are Ron & Fez who are pretty good, better than the Love Sponge.

But you be the judge.... Sirius Canada should have opened Stern up since day one though,I really dont know why they didnt but it could be enough to maybe generate some more interest in them after the Christmas rush and if thats the case nice move Sirius.
A Gamble??!!?!?!?! OMG, Sirius went from 750,000 subscribers to over 3.3Million in one year. It took them 4 years just to get the 750,000. This equates to just over $515,000,000 per year just in subscriber fee + equipment sales + advertising and so on. They are also predicting the Sirius should hit 5-6 million by the end of 2006. I think the Howard Stern deal was money in there pocket. XM is in a downwards spiral.

And on the O&A deal that is to each is there own. I think Bubba is hilarious and dont care at all for O&A. But like I said everyone likes different things so I can't flame on you for you tastes.

When Howie hit Q107 here in the GTA a few years ago, he went straight to #1 in a matter of weeks. After a year or so, it seemed like his audience started to get tired of the same rants and bitchs all the time. I'll give him credit for being a leader in radio, in terms of expanding what is available and acceptable to large numbers of people, but he has been following the same formula for a long time now.

I haven't been able to hear him since he was taken off the Buffalo station awhile ago, and I don't miss the show that much. Interesting how his divorce timed out, I bet his first wife is kicking herself these days...

Happy for the guy that he's a gazillionare now, hopefully the revenue generated will be used to bring enough channels online to convince me to spend the $$ to get a receiver...

My $.02 worth...

There is lots of other reasons to spend the money on the Satilite radio receiver.

I wish O & A were on Sirius, that's the only thing i really miss from XM. That show is wicked-awesome sometimes. I have XM in a board at work, but you can't really play that stuff in a store while it's open. It's usually pretty offensive if you haven't noticed.
