How to repair a cracked cone?
#11
make sure you dont get it on the surround becouse it will dry it up and start to crack the foam / rubber and make your crack worse. I used some silicone on my 10" sub but that was for the srruoung. Dependin on how much silicone you apply will vary the weight onto the speacker.. If its a small speacker then use that glue (if its plastic). The stuff that I used is : Dow Corning 732 Multi Purpose Sealant Clear. 100% Rubber Silicone, Permantly flexible -65 to 232 C, Resistance to weathering.
Yup worked good, not the best smell goes away, and applys easily!
Good luck on your fix!

Thanks for the tip Slammed. I think I'll still stick with trying the glue which Dukk suggested as a 6.5" speaker isn't as robust as a 10" sub. I'll go on an adventure tommorow and see what I can find in Waterloo.
