I am looking at both of these amps and can't decide which one to get. They are the same price. People say the Hifonics is slightly overrated so it will do about 2000-2200 rms @ 1 ohm. ( I would run it @ 1 ohm ) The ap30001d is 2 15001d strapped so it won't run @ 1 ohm mono but it will run 950 rms x 2 @ @ ohms. I don't know if this amp will do rated @ 2 ohms but if it does then the output would be around the same as the bxi. Any thought on this will be greatly appreciated as I have had many hifonics amps before and liked them so I am hesitant of switching to audiopipe. I do like the look of that 3000d. Its 30 inches long and would look sweet sitting in front of my 2 10 inch orioin hcca's.

Audiopipe will put out more power @ 2ohms. Many people say it does rated.

I know! That is the amp that I just got rid of cause I got 200 bucks for it. I wanted a change anyways. It toasted my re sx 10's. I got 2 10 inch orion hcca's to replace them and those should be fine. The amp doesn't put out clean power I don't think. It is powerful but not clean. My re's smelled like they were on fire with the 2006d. My orions got some burn in smell with that amp to. The gains weren't even up too high. That's one reason I got rid of it. It is a sub killer. So you guys think I should get the ap30001 and run it at 2 ohm 2 channel or 4 ohm mono ( same thing ) and it should be good on my orions at 950 rms each? I hope it does rated or it would be even less than my bxi2006d.

I've roasted a T212D2 and a L715D2 about a month apart. gonna try a btl12 fully loaded see if it can handle 2000r rms
