I haven't sent my car in yet. My warranty basically only covers big things in the electrical department. If the problem is a broken wire or a bad ground somewhere then I have to pay so I was trying to find the problem myself first.

So far I've been told people have the exact same problem and they fixed it by one of the following:

1. bad ground
2. broken wire (there's lots of casing to rip apart to find one)
3. pulling different relays/fuses
4. pulling a fuse and putting it back in only to have the problem correct itself somehow
5. need to reflash the body control module
6. corroded wire somewhere (again a lot of casing to rip)
7. burnt out bulb

Just trying to check the obvious things or fix anything that I can do myself before paying someone else to do it.

When I pull the relay for the DRL's the icon doesn't show and the service icon immediately come son but the right headlight is still dimm. Wouldn't puuling this relay take the DRL system out of the equation and make it work alright if a DRL part was the problem?

Here is an "army guy" idea.. switch the headlights around. Just a thought... I know sometimes we over look the obvious and go in too deep when it's just a little thing. I might be wrong.. You may have already done that.. my 2 cents.

I replaced the bulbs and it made no difference. Tried a new relay also with no luck.

I'm thinking it is the DRL module. i'm also thinking it is likely quite expensive.
