Has anyone in Canada bought from Sounddomain?

Purchased an Image Dynamics IDQ12 D4 v.2 from Sounddomain/cardomain about 30 days ago. It's installed and running fine. They pack things very well Box in Box.
But yes it is slow shipping if you want it NOW don't use them. Expect 2-4 weeks shipping time more on the 4 week side. I informed them that sometimes they fill out the customs papers wrong that is one of the reasons for the slow shipping times. I have purchased many things from them. Good company.
I agree the warranty is a pain but I have saved as much as 50% for the same equipment and no pushy sales reps to deal with.

It's all about having the comfort of knowing that IF you get a lemon, or run into any problems, that help isn't far away.
Nobody wants to have everything installed, then have to go without it for an extended period of time because all of the shipping, etc.

No Jordy, that stuff never fails, because we all know how gentle 16-25 year olds are with their car audio gear! Everytime a blown sub came in the story is the same "I never even had it loud!" Funny how at stoplights I can always here anyone with a sub over my system, and I have a pretty loud system.

^now now i think thats a one minded opion here. im 17 and i respect my system. why because i know if it goes on me, it will take me anouther 6 months just to get it back up again. the only way something would fail on my system is if i was to lend my car out to my friends for a week. they trhink the louder the better. they don't care about if it sounds good, just as long as it has bass. which my car has no bass, so they could wreck it real fast pulling a stupid move like that. so thier are some 16-25 year old people who boom with respect.

Here is something to consider about warranty. Who sees more warranty issues, the user or the retailer? I think we all know who deals with warranties the most, this is part of the reason why the retailers speak about it so much. It is part of good customer service to advise the customer about this.

With the majority of users, quite a few, have two in front of me right now for that matter... blown Clarion speakers....I don't sell Clarion yet the customer is here for warranty Most people on this site are educated and informed users, the average Joe of the audio world are complete tools and will continue to blow things up. It's actually amazing to see how much equipment does go out for warranty in one year. My shipping charges alone for warranty was over $3500.00 That is a crapload of product being sent back.
