ground wire sparking

Yes my ground wires sparks when I took it off of it's grounding spot.
Is this normal?

sometimes it appears that the ohm regulator is shot, but usually it's just that the current fluid is a little low. I'd check that first.

Could be the headlight fluid is down too.

Yes the positive was still hooked up. I didn't think the ground had any current in it?
Is this normal, because with these horrible replys I can't tell whats truth, I know the last 2 posts are crap but what is the OHM regulator?

You guys are hilarious.

Which ground wire are you talking about?

If it's the main ground wire from the battery it'll spark when you remove it if it's drawing current.

Say your door is open when you take it off the current draw from the doom light is enough to make it spark.

The only honest responce was Defro's

Ohm regulator.... I've gotta use that one.

thought so, a good joke never hurt anyone, it's just hard to decifer the ****. LOL, it is the ground wire to the amp, and the positive was still hooked up.

just go to your local shop and ask them for an Ohm Regulator. They can help you out im sure.

Seriously tho it's not a good idea to disconnect an amp ground without first pulling the fuse on the positive side.
Most times nothing will happen, but why risk the amp grounding through the RCA's.
Sparks and electronics are not friends.
