Dum Dum...Gum Gum...butyl rubber... works like a charm. Installer's best friend. Seals speakers, damps like nothing else, easy to work with, and to remove it....more Dum Dum!
If the cone is a bit soft after the dent removal, then a bit of paint/nail polish, or something that will dry hard, and not add too much mass will fix it up.
I just removed a huge dent in a crushed poly bullet dustcap with it.

butyl rubber...ok, ill check that out aswell....I cant find hot glue gun at my place so hafto go borrow one tommorow....butyl rubber....
