eclipse vs xtant

Xtant rocks.
I have an older model 2 channel, the 2140C...it's pretty sweet...sounds amazing, well behaved, about a billion tuning options on it, has a built in noisegate, left and right gains etc...
Only thing that sucks about Xtant is you have to remove the cover to hook it up and tune it.

The only amp issues Xtant had was the first generation of the "i" series. There were only 2 amps in this series and it was a quality control issue with the parts they bought, not the actual amp or the design. Once these amps were returned and repaired they have been flawless every since.
Like slow and low said, the A series are great amps.

I've owned a 603x for over a year.. (pre mtx built amplifier). Have been VERY happy with it.. probably the best amp I have ever owned..
The 403a was what I originally wanted to buy. Not the loudest amp out there, but sounds great none the less. The Xtant amps accept pretty high voltage inputs (over 14 volts I believe), so you can take advantage of some headroom.
I've never used the eclipse, but if you have any technical questsions about the Xtant amps, just shoot me a PM..

Oh, just on a side note.. Stay away from the new A series amps, and the 'Xtant' series amplifiers.. These were designed and built by mitek, and are not the Xtant we all remember
As for the new X series amps, I believe they still use the same circutry and design of the older X and IX series amplifiers.. Just a different cover. It looks like you can actually plop an older x series cover on it, if you don't like the hexagon style cover
