Thanks for all the help guys, also one more thing, what would you compare the Iridiums with in the Focal line?

 

Utopias I suppose since they are Focal's high-end line, but I highly doubt they sound anything like the Iridiums.

 

^^^Yeah, I've never heard the Cantons, but I heard from a guy that they sound good. So I'd go with Cantons.

Ive had a set of Cantons (Pullman 2.16's) about 7-8 years ago. I recommended them to a friend of mine when I was systemless for about 5 years and he loves them. Although he had to search all over the GTA and sorroundings to find a pair.

I have recently got the Utopia 165W3(raws) and will see the difference when they are installed. Although they will be in a totally different car and an active 3 way setup this time not a passive 2 way. Loved the Cantons as their tweet is to die for(imo). If the tn's dont do it for me then i will probably see about getting a set of Canton tweets again.

Thankfully Canton has a canadian distributer again and will be accessible($550-600 is what I was quoted as MSRP for 2.16 Pullman from the distrib). If anyone is thinking of something a little different, run down and take a listen as you wont be disappointed.

I simply meant that it is unlikely the speakers sound anything alike, and nothing more. I have not heard either set. I interpreted his question as "what is Focal's high-end line?" Therefore I answered that, along with saying it is doubtful the 2 sets sound the same. I think that is a pretty safe statement, no?? [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

This means that the Utopias do not sound like Iridiums. How hard is that to understand? I would not compare speakers I have not heard and claim one is better.
