part of the 'crx box' is what's inside. not just it's external dimentions and sub/port placement.

oh lol im not arguing at all. i was just conversating.
generally a crx box is a box that is known to have subs on top and ports out the back. THE original crx box had slot ports in it then it was changed to aero ports but we still call it crx box. also originally it was used in a Dodge Caravan and not a Honda Crx, however it turned out to work very well in a crx and other hatch cars so everyone started to use it.

How come when you take a d2 and modify it, it's called a modded d2 and not a totally different name??

Does it make any difference if you use slots or aero ports ?

So if I understand it, this legendary box design is merely one with subs facing up and ports facing backward, probably contributing to some mild reflection/horn effect that benefits vehicles that share the cargo area with the cabin? Hm. And what goes on 'inside' the box that makes it any special...er.

Ohhh big secret, eh? Hmm I wonder if it's the same thing as the that dual 6.5" sub box that does like 150 dB at 5-100 Hz. The kid there seemed to happen upon an engineering marvel no one has ever seen in the audio world. Perhaps the CRX box is too!?!?!?!?
