i learned the hard way going for a flashy deck. i had a panasonic deck back when they first started getting popular. the thing sounded like ish! and the pre-outs kept blowing. plus those flashy displays don't work very well when it's below -5c outside.
go for a quality deck, then buy some neon lights and strobes for the bling.
for the most part, flashy decks lack quality. IMO
