Something sweet like the rotating sony black out face (if you cant tell its their you should be shot) or the panasonic ghost face touch panel decks.

I do care about my deck features surprisingly enough, but I only know of two decks I like (sony cdx-800, and panasonic CQ-HR1003U) And they dont have the greatest features. The panasonic is good, but nothing special.

This deck will be in my car everytime I get in...I dont want to be staring at some monstosity with good features.

Idealy id have a alpine fantom face deck, or the fosgate/denon platinum 2000. But they are out of my price range

the Denon/platinum 2000 is out of your price range? if you are even considering that deck go look at sound domain

And dont even say the word Denon and Panasonic in the same sentence please

To tell you the truth I would much rather have a deck that performs over a deck thats just all show and no go. I think its safe to say that there are alot of decks being made that are marketed for their flashy lights and motorization, rather than putting that money into taking the performance to a higher level. I guess I am just a sucker for a non-flashy, high performing deck. I mean it is the beginning of the signal chain right? </font>
OK Fat Whacker, what would you suggest?
try to keep it resonabley cheap
