and I am unsure where to start, I have a 1988 Chevrolet Cavalier and I want to put something in thats gonna make my music sound dope. I am guessing I need a decent cd/mp3 player, any other tips would be great.

Are you looking for sound quality or SPL-Bass?

Bass mainly, sound qaulity a bit but i think the stock speaker system might do for now.

What I think all i need is a new cd deck, sub, as well as an amp. I heard terrible things about futureshop, i was thinking maybe bestbuy or even visions, any suggestiond would be great.

Consider a nice friendly knowledgeable dealer on Vancouver Island to purchase your equipment from? Interested, add me to MSN, forbidden@telus.net or e-mail me to the same address. Can't do that, PM me or call me at 1-888-881-9911 and we can go from there. I am not at the shop today and work nights for the next 5 nights in a row now so it is best to msn me or such during the day.
