as in for shops no knowing what there doing i feel sorry that your town is full of incompedent people

Some of us love people like you burnerofhells, you bring us work all week long, keep up the good advice. Some of us also are on the12volt.com, maybe under a different user name, like "forbidden" and I for sure would not recommend that a user does his own alarm install in the vast if not all cases. For some people, maybe like you, they have the aptitude and capabilities of doing it themselves, good for you as I'm sure you did a great job, but can you guarantee to the reader of your post that he will have the same success?

Well I can follow directions well and can figure stuff out. As long as I know where the wires go I would have no problems doing any of the other stuff.
Either way, when I get my tax return I think I'm just gonna get one installed. Seems easier and it isn't that expensive to do.
