Box placement
#1
Just curious, who believes that box placement, facing rear, facing front, sides etc... has an effect on the amount and the quality of the bass in your car? I have seen a few articles written on the subject that states that there is no benefit to placing the box towards the rear of the trunk due to wavelength and frequency range. I have to disagree since I can hear a huge difference in both quality and quantity when my box is placed in this fashion. Any opinions?

So very, very important. Every car, truck, van.... will sound better with the box facing a certain direction. Different box position all depends on the vehicle and the box design. You will like to keep enough distance from panels for your ports to be effective.
Question: has anyone tried their subs firing down?
