Insertion loss is minor in a simple crossover and so is the phase shift. I agree on the inflexibility of changing something like the crossover point but if you even half respect the manufacturer (enuf to run their drivers anyway) I would think that they made a good choice for the passive..

Well, just finished up running the third set of RCA's, and am running three way mode now. Sounds sweet, nice to be able to play with the HP points for the tweeter, and also the LP and HP for the mids. The only thing I noticed was that the manual does not mention if the front or rear RCA's outs are the ones to use for the tweeter section. I used the front outs, and it works fine.

Thanks Krelkor! Wow, it sounds killer, just went for a listening session away from my neighbourhood, I feel like I have suffered a head injury. Strange thing is that I swapped my sub RCA's from these:
the Monster 101's to a set of these:
the Raptor Black Magic RCA's, made by Metra. Without changing any of my sub settings, I found that I had more bass, as I had to turn the sub level control down a bit on the deck. Could the RCA's make that kind of a difference?

I am running the same Metra RCA's in my Yota. I noticed a little more output at higher volumes than my Stinger Bullet RCA's. There could have been other reasons for the variance but it did sound like it had more depth with out losing any highs. It is always hard to attribute a difference to gear because I think sound can be affected by mood as well or at least enough to make a subtle difference. Am I crazy?
