Does anyone know how the 5 band Parametric EQ works on the Alpine 9833/9835? For example, can any of the bands be centered wherever you want, on any of set channels? Can all all 5 bands be used on on set of outputs for instance? Can you do L/R independantly?
Thanks!

Have you checked the manual at the Alpine Tech Center? www.alpine1.com it might have the info you need.

the 5 bands cannot be centered anywhere you want, each induvidual band gives you 4 frequency options, as well as variable q and level, you cant do left and right individually, and the equalizing you do will eq all channels, front rear and sub so lond as the freq. you eq falls within the x-over range, hope this helps

you do have 6 channel time correction with the 9833.
Be sure and go to the i-personalize section of the webpage. You can set up your parametric eq, crossovers, q, level, time correction and then download the results to your desktop and then burn them onto a CD-R and pop it in your HU and download all the settings automatically.
It's really the cats @ss.
