ok, this is sweet... its runs on my days off so I can take a couple more for safty days...
ty, it'd be great if you could stop by winnipeg, if its your route I'll meet you there.
however if theres a van going we could bail on your car at winnipeg and all ride with them?
I know the owner of Keystone ford, he will look after the rides on his parking lot while were gone I'm sure.. if this is a good Idea let me know and I'll ask him.
sounds like either way I'm going.. booking days off today

Sounds like we may have more people than vehicles?
I'd bet a rental van would be $1000 atleast.
Fuel - $300-$400
Food - ?
Hotel - Fri. and Sat. nights, other than that sleep in the van on the road - $100-$150 per night per room.
That's about $2000 total
6 people in a van - about $350 per person + food
When Chev and I have gone in the past, we've driven straight through - looks like about a 20 hour drive from Winnipeg, so leaving Thurs afternnon would allow for arrival on Friday noonish - just in time to catch the setup.
Leave Sunday night and arrive back in Winnipeg late Monday night.
Oh, and I'd be willing to cover fuel (all of it - as long as you don't get 12mpg) if someone else takes a vehicle.

IASCA hasn't announced the official hotels yet (they usually negotiate a bit of a price break)
There's two that are within walking distance - which is where I'd want to be.
The marriot has rooms and they're about $120 USD taxes in for 4 people or roughly $170 CAN - or about $40/night.
There's likely more expensive options available too.
We should setup a chat/email or something to work this all out. Who's vehicle, depart from where/when, arrive, etc. etc.
