Help with making custom box for truck

I have 2 15s Kicker Comps and i want to make a custom box for them for in the back of my truck. I have a 2003 S-10 and its an extended cap. I want to build a box that is from the back of the window panel, to the back of my seats. Then from the side to the other side, so ill have lots of room, and im thinking to go ported as you dont have to worry about perfect boxes with ported and its a little louder to. So my questions are:

If i use that big of a space do i have to worry as much for the perfect box, or can i just build it to fit back there?

Port holes, what size of port holes do they have to be? Im putting a divider in the middle of the 2 subs in the box and 1 port hole on each side.

My dad was a wood Carpenter for years and has all the tools to build it, i just have to give him all the dementions and he can build it, so if i could get these questions answered that will be great thanks!

Build your box to kicker specs or by T/S parameters. They (or computer program u used) should give u port sizes as well Too big a box is as bad or worse than too small a box. You'll get the best performance from a well designed enclosure.

That would be a sealed box that is more forgiving. Vented boxes are not.

Ok well heres my plan.

I want to fill the back of my truck and make a custom box for my 2 15s. People say build a ported box as you dont have to worry about it being wrong and it not sounding good, as long as you do the porting right you should be fine. Also i want to be heard and i hear ported boxes are louder also.
