Absolutely correct. I work with youngsters every day. Whenever an award is given out for service, whether it be a trophy or a certificate, it becomes "all about" the reward. The reward should come from the fruits of your labour - knowing you have made a difference. It's OK to pat people on the back once in a while and show appreciation, though.

They have this on Termpro. "Member Rating" It comes up as stars and you can only vote one person once. It doesn't even show up until somone is a 3-star voted by like 10+ people.

I think if we have this feature it should be called the excursion rating. How far out someone goes to help others. And it could be a sub. The more excursion they're rated at, the further out the surround appears to be on the sub.

Stars are over rated.

But what real benifit would there be? OK you get an pat on the back. For some of us thats not why we come here. I started because I needed quicker updates on upcoming events. I stayed because I learned from the various opinions. To me every one is equal. I don't look at post's or the such.

Good idea I guess so. Not to rain on your idea but...

As posted earlier, it doesn't take too long here to find out who is dependable for usefull insight into your questions. Those that try aren't doing it for a reward.

A simple "thank-you" is all anyone could hope for and all that is needed IMO.

I like your way of thinking though.
