FEELER: installer in calgary....
#1
well... i guess you could say i'm looking for an installers job in the calgary area....
i WAS supposed to have a summer job installing commercial/residential security systems, home theatre/audio systems. but...it's just "call" work. i was told a coulple of months ago that there would be lots of work coming up this summer and that i would be making lots of money.
sure. whatever. well, it's been about 2 weeks now, and i haven't gotten "called" for any work at all!!! i'm just sitting here at home on my **** and twidilling my thumbs, dreaming about the "ultimate install" that i could do on my car, when no actual work is getting done. i would do some work on the car, but i haven't been working so i have no money!!!
i'd REALLY love to start somewhere in the business/industry and get some experience...even just doing "busy work" or "the newbie jobs" - as long as it gave me some hours and a little money to spend.
i've got a couple years of car audio experience behind me (just hobby though, no industry), and like i said, i've worked security and home theatre/audio for over a year now as installer/tech. i'm also a third year electrical engineering student, and LOVE anything audio/visual/electronic/technological if that helps any...
anyone out there need some part-time help?
anyone out there want to take on a "newbie" as a sort of apprentice?
i'm free for any hours right now, but i will be starting summer classes in a few months but still hope to keep a job while in school....
please let me know if you have any openings or know of anyone that does....
THANKS GUYS!
